About Mountain West rescue

Mountain West Rescue provides wilderness medicine training utilizing the Desert Mountain Medicine curriculum. DMM curriculum is based on practice guidelines established by the Wilderness Medical Society and scope of practice documents written by the Wilderness Medicine Education Collaborative (WMEC.)

We aim to provide the highest quality medical training to professionals, recreationalists and organizations that operate in remote areas far from definitive medical care.

We run courses throughout the Western United States and abroad. Reach out if you are interested in setting up a private course!
